Track VII of Until The Sky Dies full-length debut ‘The Year Zero Blueprint’ is streaming at Svbterranean
Comprised of multi-instrumentalists Clint Listing (Grizzle, Long Winters Stare, et al) and Ryan Michalski (Cosmic Punch), Until the Sky Dies is an interesting project that draws influence from doom metal, post-hardcore and the avant-garde scenes and possesses it’s own odd and unique sonic character, which is self-evident in the group’s forthcoming debut.
The Year Zero Blueprint is a raw and otherworldly recording complete with a dystopian concept in which Listing briefly elaborates upon by stating, “In a distant galaxy’s past, The Gods create life without freewill, until one is born with this blueprint imprinted and the great change begins. Hive mind versus independence.” The first chapter of their story can be found here.
In preparation for its impending release, we at Svbterranean bring you an exclusive stream of the seventh chapter in The Year Zero Blueprint tale. Simply titled “VII”, the new track delivers lengthy, cacophonous doom crawls that spiral into unpredictable angular flourishes and groove-laden interludes that seem to parody rock instrumentation on the drop of a dime. Listing states, “This is the darkest and most aggressive track on album concluding in the epic battle of our story.”
Releases October 31 and November 3 worldwide in Digital, CD and vinyl formats.
