Over several years, Alco (composer) wrote and composed songs inspired by the classic 80’s horror movie ‘The Evil Dead’.
The songs that were composed, retell the story of that movie. It is something he wanted to do all his life, as he is a die hard fan of that movie to say the least.
During that time he asked a longtime friend, Nicolas, to help him out by doing the drum parts. They had done similar things when they were teens, over 25 years ago.
After several years of hard work, the material for the album was fine-tuned and recorded.
Mario Lopez detailed the album with the finest art, to give the album that classic old-school horror and metal vibe.
This album is a so called Worship project of Death, Doom and Thrash metal from the 80’s and also of horror movies from the 70’s and 80’s, besides of course ‘The Evil Dead’.
The album retells the story of ‘The Evil Dead’ movie in all it’s gory and creepy glory. Thus ‘The Evil Dead’ Death/Doom metal musical experience has been created.
The full-length album “Cabin of Horrors” was recorded in 2015/2016 and consists out of 11 tracks.
The amazing cover art, logo and liner/interior art for the album were done by Mario Lopez.
‘Cabin Of Horrors’ will be released on vinyl in early 2017. For now, the release is available digitally at the band’s Bandcamp site.
